Anwar your independent candidate for Bury North 2024

I Anwarul Haq have Lived in Bury for over 30 years.
I am an actor by profession (www.marcanwar.co.uk,) and also the founder, Chief Financier and CEO of local charity Project29, (www.project29.org.uk).

When I was growing up (I am now 68), I remember my grandfather telling me “Son you want something doing, you have to get up and do it yourself.”

In the last few years I have faced a number of discriminatory issues by various Governmental bodies in Bury which needed resolving. Upon seeking answers however, I have not received any explanations or the clarity I sought, and I do not foresee any either. I believe this corrupt system locally and nationally needs an overhaul. I am certain I am not the only one either who feels this way. What about you the good people of Bury?
I have no faith in the present setup and I don’t believe that the two main parties are capable of addressing our issues.
So bearing in mind the above, and taking my grandfather’s words on board, I have decided to challenge the corrupt system and stand for the position of MP for Bury North, in the next General elections.
Exposing the corruption, deception and hypocrisy are just for starters.

People of Bury deserve better.
